Bridgewater is a well maintained and established community located off Hwy 90, and near Hwy 501. The development is within a 5-minute drive to Coastal Carolina University, Walmart, Downtown Conway, and a short drive from everything else beautiful Conway and Myrtle Beach have to offer. Two large lakes offer many of the homes a direct water view, and others have wooded lots for privacy. Lee's Landing, a county-maintained ramp to the Waccamaw River is also nearby.
Bridgewater is unique in that the community has both double-wide mobile homes and single family custom-built homes, with most on a quarter-acre or larger lot. Prices are very affordable, with mobile homes under $100,000 and others ranging from about $100,000 to $150,000. The development started in the early 2000's and new homes are being built even today, so there are all ages of property as well.
Many of the custom-homes have luxury appointments such as two-car garages, fireplaces, garden tubs, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and more. A fenced-in storage area is available at no extra charge and is on a first-come basis. HOA fees of $17-20 can be paid annually, and in two or five payments. Children attend Conway Elementary School, Black Water Middle School, and Conway High School.
