College Park is an established community very near Coastal Carolina University and the hospital, located off Carolina Rd and Highway 501. Developed in the 70's, there are homes here built in the 80's, the mid-2000's, and even a few that are under construction.  Most of the homes are ranch-style, and many are very affordable and perfect for student rentals. Just as many are very nice and perfect for alumni or anyone who likes the convenience of a home near the Carolina Forest stores and businesses.

Homes in College Park are mostly 3-bedroom, 2-bath models, with a smattering of 2 bedroom houses mixed in. Prices range from about $150,000 for the older and smaller ones to the mid $200,000's for newest. Some are on spacious lots and some on smaller lots. There is something for everyone's needs in this community.

Kids will attend Carolina Forest or Waccamaw Elementary School, Black Water Middle School, and Carolina Forest High School. Some homes are within walking distance of the college. There are no HOA fees, and it's outside the city limits for low taxes.
